Howard Mohlke
Pastor
Pastor Mohlke (Howie) has served in the public ministry since 1991. He attained his Bachelor's Degree at Northwestern College, Watertown Wisconsin, and then attained is Master's Degree at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon WI.
He has served as a Missionary in Zambia for nine years, and Pastor in Norfolk, NE for seven years, before coming to Messiah. In addition to serving Messiah as pastor he also serves as a member of the World Mission Board.
Pastor Mohlke and his wife, Leslie, live with two of their children here in Nampa. Three of thier older children live in Nebraska.
Mark Cares
A Lutheran pastor since 1977, Pastor Cares came to Messiah Lutheran church in 1981. He and his wife, Bonnie, have been married since 1974. They have five children and five grandchildren.
Pastor Cares attended college at Northwestern College in Wisconsin and four years of seminary at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.
He is the author of "Speaking the Truth in Love to Mormons."
