Announcement for the week of  September 5-12

Preschool begins on September 8th. There is still time to refer your friends to  Messiah’s    Children Preschool for the coming school year. Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1st to   enroll.  As we are only running morning classes this year, enrollment is limited in some of the classes.  If you have any questions, please speak to Pastor Mohlke, Danee Haro or Jenny Wockenfuss.

NEW LADIES BIBLE STUDY:  Join us for a new and exciting Bible Study “Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus:  How the Jewishness of Jesus Can Transform Your Faith”!  Our journey begins September 20, 2010 at 10:00 am.  We will be meeting at the Flying M Coffee Shop in downtown Nampa.  We will meet the third Monday of each month for 14 months.  Contact Terri Krigbaum at 863-0784 for more information.  The cost for the study book is $15.00.  Please turn in your money to Terri by September 13^th if you would like to participate so she can get a book ordered for you! 

  There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall with more information about the study.  Hope to have you join us!

Youth Instruction time change!  6th and 7th graders meet on Monday evenings at 6 o’clock. 8th graders begin at 6:30 pm. Remember, there will be no youth instruction on September 6, due  to the holiday weekend.

Good News for You –Oct 2010    Do you want to be able to witness with more confidence? Do you want to have a better grasp of the teaching of the Bible? Would you like to be able to actually lead a Bible instruction course? Well, I have good news for you.  In October, we begin an eleven week course entitled: We Have Good News for You.       

     The cost of the course is minimal. The glossy covered paperback student book costs $7.00. For those who desire hone their teaching skills a leaders guide costs $17.00.   See bulletin board for more information  and registration.  

Kids Church heating and cooling unit: The heating and cooling unit in the Kids Church building has been replaced. Thank you to everyone who has contributed toward the replacement, however we have not yet reached our goal to completely pay for it.

New Bible Study begins on Thursday September 9th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm:  This class will be designed for high school kids and their parents, but everyone  is welcome. The curriculum will be determined by the members of the class.
